Selfridges is opening the country’s largest undercover skatepark, in partnership with mobile phone company HTC. The pop-up space, open from March 27 until April 19, is situated at the Old Selfridges Hotel on Orchard Street.

The 18,500-sq-ft area will recreate interpretations of famous London skateboarding street spots, such as the Southbank’s Undercroft and the Big Ben Road Gap, and features ramps and jumps. Equipment is free of charge, as is admission.

To coincide with the pop-up, HTC has also opened its first concept store at Selfridges, where shoppers can try the brand’s latest technologies, while the shop’s newly opened Board Room sells over 1,000 world-exclusive skateboards – including designs by Stella McCartney, Rick Owens and Christian Louboutin.
