Loco Dice what springs to mind something of the unknown… Born in Tunisia, Loco Dice is a DJ and producer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He began his career in hip-hop as a DJ and performer before he became legendary and internationally known in the house music scene. Kick starting his career with residency at the Tribehouse club made him Loco Dice, not only a performer he also runs his own label Desolat. Dice has also released tracks on labels such as Cadenza, Four Twenty, Ovum and Cocoon.
Loco Dice is able to capture those intangible moods through his direct approach to music bringing his ideas forward to create artistic sounds full of emotion allowing listeners to be able to connect with the music. From Time Warp to Cocoon in Ibiza Loco Dice caters for everyone. In 2002 he paired up with Martin Buttrich and released tracks like ‘Seeing Through Shadows’, ‘Menina Brassilliera’ and ‘Phat Dope Shit’. The pair spent time in New York city working on the the Loco Dice album.
Dice successfully inundates the ears of the music lovers with a distinguished sound setting him apart from other DJs. He incorporates imagination with feeling which has derived from hip hop structures and basslines also having been born in Tunisia he has been influenced by north African and middle eastern folk music.
