LWE have unveiled their new location and impressive lineup for the Cuttin’ Headz and The Martinez Brothers event on the 6th of May 2018.
LWE has revealed Old Fountain Studios, a never-before-used space in the heart of Wembley. Gritty and unpolished on the surface, it’s rusted walkways, barbed wire fences and looming ceilings are essentially a blank industrial canvas. The Wembley location is a rarity in the city, from which LWE will craft a unique experience unrivalled by anywhere else.
The headliners for the first event will be none other than Bronx duo, The Martinez Brothers. They will be hosting a huge showcase of key talent from their very own label – Cuttin’ Headz. The Bros always bring their A-game when they play in the UK so are perfect to get the ball rolling in this brand new space.
The Martinez Brothers say:’We love playing in London, and the music that’s coming out is so creative and diverse. We’ve had some dope UK talent release on Cuttin’ Headz and we were blessed to be able to collaborate with Rudimental on ‘No Fear’. For us, hitting up a new location is pretty much about celebrating that culture and connecting with a wider audience.”
Joining them will be Arkityp, the blistering duo made up of Archie Hamilton and Rossko. With the promise of a special guest to be announced very soon, it’s destined to be a stunning introduction to Old Fountain Studios.
