Friday the 22nd brought one of the most talked about events in Novembers calendar. With Lee Foss pretty much guaranteeing you will have a good night and dance your socks off, no one was surprised when the event sold out days in advance.

Lee Foss’s skills were to be backed up by sets from Russ Yallop whose dub mix of his song ‘the Journey’ has been on our playlist this week and Martin Ikin who brought out a real nice deep house release in the summer.

Those who weren’t lured in by the strong line up had the deal sealed by the venue. Egg isn’t your typical club, I’d refer to it as more of a raving hotspot. The fact it’s tucked up out the way near Kings cross as opposed to trendy Shoreditch is actually a good thing. People have to put in a bit of work to get there, deterring the suit and shoes crowd who have rolled out of work and been on the bottle since 5pm. At least 90% of the crowd seemed to be there for the music and with the party going through till 8am we made sure not to arrive too early.

People were honestly dancing like it was a sport with condensation literally dripping from the sealing. The wet floor and walls were no deterrent as the atmosphere was electric.
