Field Day returns to Victoria Park on Saturday 20th August 2022 as part of the APE Presents programme.

The glorious festival was not only a place to listen to a revered showcase of electronic music but also the perfect spot for endless dancing, catching up with friends and of course people watching.

If you took a moment to glance above your misty lenses you would have seen a ton of gorgeous people, offering a perfect snapshot of UK festival style. We spotted plenty of patterns, flares, co-ords and denim.

The lineup was headlined by The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk and special guest: Peggy Gou. With DJ sets and live shows from  Artwork b2b CC:DISCO, Carl Craig b2b Moodymann, Cici, Daniel Avery [live], Denis Sulta b2b Mella Dee, Eliza Rose, Emerald b2b Jossy Mitsu, Erol Alkan, FJAAK, Floating Points, Folamour, HAAi, Heléna Star, Kareem Ali, Logic1000, Otik, salute, Squarepusher [live] and Tourist [live].

So far Field Day have not made any announcements for their 2023 edition. Some sound advice for attending the event if it is in Victoria Park, would be arrive early to explore the smaller stages and find a spot close to the speakers. The truth is that if you regularly frequent basement/ out of town spots the volume of the headliner on the main stage may seem volumetrically challenged. With that said I racked up a massive 28,000 steps dancing the day away.
