So last week after their hit catwalk show Burberry opened up their Makers House so everyone with a love for fashion but not enough clout for a front row seat could get up close and personal with their latest collection. Their Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection was influenced by Henry Moore and to play homage to the late artist they had some his most famous sculptures on show.

The collection was a rich subtle mix of greys, blues and palette cleansing creams. We loved the waffle knit textures to keep you warm in the winter. One of the main attractions of the exhibition was the exploration of the cape, from diamond-encrusted to concrete.

Core trends that ran through the collection were Breton stripes, delicate lace and oversized sleeves. So a real futuristic English heritage fisherman vibe.
