When You Do opens proceedings with a flourish of shimmering washed out dub stabs almost delicately placed over the marching beat. St. Bernard’s opening track conjures up progressive but full on rhythm with dubbed out hats that make this one, really take the lead. A versatile opener that really brings you in.
Our favourite track on the EP has to be Tred Benedict’s remix that sees things stripped right back to the core. No emotive stabs here, the vocal turns hypnotic and repetitive. The focus is on an infectious groove that’s sure to keep the floors rolling, in the repetition grows a certain beauty.
