What do you think your event offers to the London House Scene?
Junk Department is all about presenting the highest quality clubbing experience to everyone in attendance. That’s top music, on a top sound set up, with top production, in a top venue. Although we are all about the party, we spend a huge amount of time preparing it to make sure you all have a good time whilst there
How did you go about selecting the line up?
We’ve been working really closely for a few years now with a lot of German labels and artists and, whilst at the ADE, we had a chat with Upon You label boss Marco Resmann and came up with the line-up together. Both M.A.N.D.Y. and Steve Bug are good friends with Junk and Upon You, and have affiliation with the label, so it just worked really well…
What can we expect from Upon You Records in 2013?
2013 is going to be a great year for the Upon You records team – along with a string of hot releases, there’s a multitude of label parties at Watergate and Panorama bar, a new clothing collection AND our first artist album is being released. Watch this space!
