LWE has revealed a new series of shows that will be taking place at Magazine London in 2020. The event heavyweights have curated unique events at Tobacco Dock, Printworks London and Fountain Studios. Sphere at the North Greenwich venue, will explore a cross-section of house, techno and everything that falls within those circles. Sphere will represent the sweet spot of where different sounds and different people meet.

For the launch night of Sphere, on 15th February, expect Hot Since 82, Eats Everything and very special guest Maya Jane Coles. Also on the bill is La Fleur who LWE have been working closely with over the last few years, and will  Effy who’s hotly tipped for great things in 2020.

A new production and lighting concept will be used to transform the space. There will be different depths to the dance floor, and a myriad of production techniques to create a glowing iridescence amongst the black walls. Sphere’s lighting rig is made up of to six-tiered columns, each deployed with their own haze machine and laser tower, which are dotted throughout the dance floor. They form a horse-shoe, inside which is the dancefloor’s inner circle – the epicentre of proceedings.

With a big focus on sound quality, expect clarity, warmth and loudness. The venue will be fitted with a bespoke L’Acoustics Soundsystem, with LWE’s long term partners BCS Audio. The same winning combination that has won accolades at Junction 2 Festival.
