Out of all the items I received in my November Glossy box the Nail Rock designer nail wraps had to be my favorite. They are designer to last up to 7 days on nails and 8 weeks on toes. I Applied mine to my nails and they lasted 6days which is pretty good for me as my nail varnish usually needs a change by then anyway. Before starting to do my nails I watched a tutorial and here are my top tips when applying the original nail rock designs.

My top tips

  • make sure to file you nails to the desired length before applying the wraps
  • if necessary trim down the side of the wrap before application
  • to help get the wrap right to the cuticle line bend it slightly when doing so , as it will be more rigid and easier to manoeuvre
  • once the wrap is on the nail bend it over the nail and use your file to remove the excess
  • after application the wraps will seem a bit loose, I used my blo dryer to lightly warm the area and then just pressed down on each wrap for about 10seconds

If you use these tips and the instructions you shouldn’t have any problems. As they are around £7.00 a pack and only last a week some consider trying them our for a special occasion. You can apply them the day before for a great look on the night. Even if you brought a new pack each week they still work out cheaper then most nail salons and are a great alternative to polish if you have a very unsteady hand.
