From the 16th – 21st of April Alternative Fashion week was held at Spitalfields market. This year saw original collections from over eighty designers. I headed down to enjoy the finale and to have a look at the special hosted fashion market. Although not all of the designers were to my taste I enjoyed the show and was truly from talking to the designers I was able to appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into one collection.
My favourite collection had to be Loulabelle Couture, a collection that endeavours to create high quality garments with a strong sense of style. The Spring/ Summer 2012 collection had a variety of hand dyed fabrics from muted tones to candy pastels.
