With the nail art trend growing the beauty industry is putting in some real time to think of new ways to be innovative with nail art and design. Ciate is just one brand who has been able to do just that.

1– Sit and admire the great product you have just bought and think about how long you can wear it and before everyone has it!

2– Get you products ready , you will need the base coat , the caviar pearls, clear top coat, and the tray provided.

3-Start by preping you nails, so take off your polish. Trim them, buff them , whatever your normal routinue is. You will need clean dry nails.

4– Apply a coat of the base polish and allow to dry completly – 5mins

5– Nail by nail apply a coat of polish followed by lashings of caviar pearls. Press firmly and allow excess to fall off. Repeat this on all nails then wait 20minutes for the pearls to set.

6– Using the nozzle provided filter the excess beads back into the bottle.

7– Voila’ you are done and your nails looks pretty damn good!

Tips– Pressing firmly allows the beads to embed down into the polish- to me this is the most vital part of the process.

Be careful is you want to apply polish to the ends,  the colours began to run when in contact with clear polish. If you dare use a small amount and try and be precise.

I would rate it a 8/10, the Caviar manicure gives a really nice look but only lasted a couple of days (Some sites quote that it last up to 48hours). However it was my first time applying. With some practise i’m sure I will be able to apply the pearls more effectively. It is the perfect look for special occasion.

For a professional touch why not head down to Selfridges London where Ciate will be hosting a pop up salon to celebrate the launch of the Caviar Manicure (From Thursday 10th May- Wednesday 16th May)
